Cleaning for a future

In Bulgaria, its generally assumed that Roma people are dirty and their Roma neighborhoods are filthy with trash and refuse. While it is true that Roma Neighborhoods usually are littered with trash and overfilled garbage containers, that could be generally said about all of Bulgaria and isn't necessarily specific problem for Roma. These youth are painting a local playground in the Roma neighborhood in a public clean up day. Excited and enthusiastic, Roma NGOs often push rapidly for development through the Roma ethnicity but often become frustrated for wanting too much too quickly from a race that has been systematically repressed for hundreds of years.
