WWII Victory Day | New Names for Old Traditions

The Foot Notes, Part ?

So, I thought I would give this thing another whirl. We will see what comes of it. Currently, I'm using Drupal as my CMS and the Zen theme. I, however, need to install the correct module to easily link these items as hyperlinks.

Basically, right now the focus is as it always has been: fun. I'm still playing around with websites and failed attempts at getting anything serious. Currently, I have implemented successfully http://ternipe-simitli.org using Joomla. I have put together an almost complete website a failed Peace Corps Network. The skeletal remains can be found here: http://pcv.thefootnotes.net . I'm currently hosting a friend of mine's website/gadget called Love-o-Graph which uses Google API tech with some fun algorithms: http://lovegraph.thefootnotes.net. There are some other things on the side burner that I've been wanting to get moving on but for one reason or another, i'm not willing to declare failure (The Network; for Peace Corps Volunteers) or success (Ternipe Simitli). So we will leave those projects as a pleasant surprise.

General Goals for this Website:

1) Unsure

2) Unknown

3) Fun

---------------------------

Anyway, there are couple of things I would like to elaborate here in this public forum. Most importantly, I would like to share a couple of my musings. I've got that journalistic itch but i'm too lazy to actually find a forum for my voice, so I made my own.

I've always enjoyed the concept of website design. Now its a little to complicated for me so I bowed out to the world of CMS technology.

Why not just use another social networking website?
-Simply put, I don't want to. Facebook its that interesting and Myspace is a visual car wreck. Other blog format websites are beneficial but again, I like my own control.

Keep it Simiple:
-The goal is to concentrate on content, not the visual appearance.
